Who I am

Hi, I’m Ashley Aminian, an Instructional Designer with a passion for creating impactful and engaging learning experiences. With a background in education and a strong foundation in curriculum design, I’m on a mission to transform complex concepts into interactive and effective eLearning modules.

After years of teaching, I decided to channel my skills into instructional design, leveraging my expertise in education to build innovative training solutions. My journey began with mastering tools like Articulate Storyline and Vyond, enabling me to create immersive learning experiences that resonate with today’s digital learners.

I design learning experiences grounded in proven instructional design methodologies, including ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) and SAM (Successive Approximation Model). I understand the importance of an iterative and agile approach, particularly in today’s rapidly changing learning environments. Whether it’s developing detailed storyboards or creating rapid prototypes, I ensure that every step of the design process is focused on achieving measurable learning outcomes.

My instructional philosophy is also influenced by Bloom's Taxonomy and Gagné’s Nine Events of Instruction, which help me craft effective learning objectives and design experiences that maximize knowledge retention. I’m particularly passionate about scenario-based learning, where learners engage in realistic decision-making simulations that enhance critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Currently, I’m focused on developing a diverse portfolio that showcases my ability to design interactive modules, decision-making scenarios, and personalized learning experiences. From crafting eLearning courses on email etiquette for corporate teams to designing time management training for remote workers, I aim to enhance learner engagement and retention through well-structured and visually appealing content.
